Many of the photographs we see from Camden South households are family snapshots and school photos printed on colour paper in the 1970s, 80s and 90s. They’re the photographs people assume will last, and they’re often the first to fade.
Colour prints from those decades were made with dyes that break down over time. Blues and yellows go first, so skies turn pale, skin turns orange or pink and everything loses contrast. We correct the colour cast, recover contrast and repair the scratches and creases that come from years in drawers and albums, without over-sharpening or smoothing faces.

My old colour photos have all turned orange. Can they be fixed?
In most cases, yes. That orange or magenta cast comes from dyes fading unevenly. We rebalance the colour and restore the contrast the print has lost.
Should I scan the whole album or restore individual photos?

Can you print restored photos larger than the original?
Where the original has enough detail, yes. A professional 8 × 12 inch print is $35 with any restoration, and larger prints and canvases are available on our enlargement pricing page.
