Maternity is one of the most beautiful, fleeting seasons of life. Every maternity session at Faithful includes family photos with your partner and children at no extra cost, plus access to a curated gown wardrobe in sizes 6–22 and professional hair & make-up available on-site. The $100 session fee secures your date and the shoot; your finished artwork is chosen from our Studio Collections (from $550) at your in-studio viewing.

The Faithful approach
Pregnancy is the shortest season you'll ever want to remember forever. A maternity session holds onto it — the silhouette, the anticipation, the quiet rituals of waiting — before the newborn chapter sweeps everything along.
Faithful is an award-winning maternity photography studio in South-West Sydney, led by Marten and Dalia. Sessions are gentle and unhurried, timed for the third trimester — around 30 to 34 weeks — when your bump is beautifully defined and you're still comfortable on your feet. Our studio wardrobe of flowing maternity gowns is included, fitted and styled on the day, or bring something personal that feels like you. And because this story belongs to the whole family, photos with your partner and children are part of every session at no extra cost.
You'll find us at our Main Studio in Glen Alpine and The George Center in Gledswood Hills. Add professional hair and makeup before the shoot, and finish with a personal in-studio gallery reveal — your Studio Collection (from $550) curated image by image. Many families pair maternity with a newborn session and reserve their due-date window at the same time.
Good to know
The sweet spot is 30–34 weeks: your bump is wonderfully round, and you're still moving comfortably. Lock your date in during the second trimester so the window doesn't creep up on you — and if you're expecting multiples or measuring ahead, we'll simply bring the session forward a few weeks. Comfort always leads the schedule.
Our gown wardrobe is included with every session: flowing silhouettes, bump-hugging knits and draped fabrics in soft, timeless tones, all fitted on the day. Prefer your own pieces? Soft neutrals like ivory, beige and dusty rose photograph beautifully, and a bare-bump look is always an option. Partners look best in simple, solid colours that let the two of you take the focus.
Never done this before? That's most of our mums. Every pose is guided — gentle side profiles, hands cradling the belly, relaxed seated shapes in natural light — with breaks whenever you need them. If you're camera-shy, professional hair and makeup before the session does wonders for how relaxed you feel the moment the first frame appears.
